This post is about ...
What is the public cloud?
Basically, and in short, they are cloud services offered by external companies through the public Internet network. Any company or person who wishes to hire them can use them, both paying or for free.

Cloud services.
At this point, practically everyone knows about cloud services. These range from file storage, applications and even cloud telephony and leads to lower maintenance costs (centralisation), ease of information exchange, and especially flexibility, among other advantages.
Types of cloud services.
There are three main types of solutions depending on the type of use offered by the provider’s cloud:
1. IaaS, Infrastructure as a Service. It consists of having a work network without a server, that is, a computing infrastructure through the Internet. Users do not need to have a data centre nor worry about updating or maintaining the different elements of the infrastructure, thus eliminating the need to invest and maintain their own.
2. PaaS, Platform as a Service. In this case, the provider offers a platform where developers and programmers run and manage their applications. It provides service to their clients, without having to design or maintain the infrastructure or platform related to the process.
3. SaaS, Software as a Service. In this case, the provider offers users a specific application in the cloud, always updated, along with all the infrastructure and platforms required for the operation of the application.
In all the cases above, using fast devices on the network is recommended since the speed of the Internet connection determines the performance of any of the services.
